      Florida CCW turnaround time

      Seems like florida is a more spotty timeline than MD with when they approve. I mailed mine Aug 16, arrived the 22nd, check cashed the 24th and just waiting now. I've about got the status check page worn out LOL!

      I requested fingerprint cards off their website, then went to the Fredrick county sherrif (as they are the closest law enforcement to me that does fingerprints) it has to be done by law enforcement agency and there is apparently not many left in MD that do it. I presume it can be done at an out...

      This could be possible. A coworker and I took the same class and both submitted as soon as it was done on 7/17 mine was accepted on the 21st but his not until the 28th. I started my app probably a week or 2 before he did so I would have a much lower number.

      Springfield XDS .45 ACP

      I have both xdm45 3.8c and the xds. Love them both. Only have a couple hundred rounds thru the xds but knock on wood not a single hiccup of any kind. It is a little rough on the hand but for a little pocket rocket its to be expected. That said no I wouldnt buy it just for a range gun. Got mine...

      Just got my 2/19 back. Not disproved 4/5, ffl got fax last night. Same ffl got my buddys 2/21, not disproved 4/6 fax last night also. He is still waiting on one he has out from 2/15 though so obviously no ryme or reason. 7 day wait? Sorry sir that should say 7 week wait.......

      The taking a week to fax after not disaproved is a whole bunch of bs on its own. I dont care if they do only have one fax machine, it aint hard to send a fax and it dont take that long. I mighta been born at night but not last night

      new from washington county

      New guy here from Williamsport. Been lurking here a few days after found the site googling how long background checks are taking (day 44 AARRGH!!) finally decided to join.
