Tenn Gov Lee calls for special legislative session, wants red flag law

The town I live in has 24k residents. We don’t have a police department and crime is very low.

Tenn Gov Lee calls for special legislative session, wants red flag law

Nobody does. I’m in a pretty affluent area in West Knoxville and nobody here wants any part (East TN) of their crap. Nobody here ever mentioned any of the TN 3. If I want to hear about them I have to go on twitter. Most of the folks I’ve met here carry, and so do their wives. The TN 3 aren’t...

They are issued within your county of residency. Upstate counties historically are not recognized in NYC (but are good in all other upstate counties), but permits issued in the city are recognized in all counties.

NY Now Demanding Guns be Disabled & Locked Up at Home

My wife and I are from NY. We were in MD for a bit, now TN…. Long story but anyway, we were recently on a trip, I was in swim trunks or shirtless so I just put my micro 9 in her little purse backpack she carries around. After about a week of that, she was pretty sad to have to give back the...

Two folks apply for carry permit from NYC using different address in NY state.

There are a ton of hacidic family camps and second residences in Sullivan county that the families from the city use. I’d bet that’s likely the case here. Generally, these families have the means and will to sue everyone and anyone. I’d like to see how this one plays out.

NYC CCW case is at SCOTUS!

Is there any kind of motion that can be filed directly with the USSC, bypassing appeals that says “they are blatantly saying no to comply with the ruling”? Second, what are the chances NY ends up under some type of conservatorship (likely the wrong term given the situation), akin to Alabama when...

NYC CCW case is at SCOTUS!

While I don’t feel it could, or should be required I personally carry a personal liability policy for a couple reasons: Criminals get way too much deference these days. If you assault me, I will undoubtedly shoot you. Then I’m open to civil suits. Even if I win, it costs me attorneys fees. My...

NYC CCW case is at SCOTUS!

Thomas calls out wait times as well. Being from NY originally, certain parts of the state getting a permit was something that could be done…. In 7-14 months.

NYC CCW case is at SCOTUS!

I just moved out of NY. It’s been a while but as I recall, some counties are $200 and up to a 6 month wait for a permit just to own a pistol to keep in your home. Then, you have to go to the clerk to add each pistol to your permit before taking possession. Whether you get the permit varies from...

TN becomes 19th State to go ConCarry

I bring 2 current and another 2 soon to be solid votes for freedom. A large part of choosing our new state was just how red it was and likelihood of it flipping blue in my lifetime.

TN becomes 19th State to go ConCarry

Haven’t posted in years, but I lurk. After leaving MD for WV I ended up back in NY for 5 years due to work. U pack trailer is in the driveway. T-4 days to West Knoxville. I can smell the freedom.

No handguns allowed (even at home) for Nassau County NY prosecutors

A permit is needed in any and all counties in NY to own a handgun in the home. Pistol permits are issued to own a pistol in the state of NY. Depending on where (county) you live, you may get restrictions such as in home only, target and sporting, employment or unrestricted. A permit to own a...
