Spit out some of my evening cocktail on that...
This is why I stocked up up up on CCI after the 2013 debacle
I am only fortunate to have two of these fine rifles. One was the basic cheapest wood stock with threaded barrel that I put a trigger kit, padded recoil buffer, and polished...
My experience with RMR's on pistols is that they take some getting used to. Had one on a FN509T that cowitnessed to the point I was getting confused/ distracted. Ended up taking it off for now since I don't have enough ammo to try to get comfortable with it. So suggest you try one first if...
Excellent thoughts! Thanks, Blaster 229 for the lesson. I've done this by doing regular range sessions, but didn't realize what I was doing. I also really recommend the flat trigger option for the Sig. My 226 Legion SAO has a trigger like that with super short reset. When I was going to the...
I stand corrected- Like I said, at the point of redirect, where I work has the purchaser input the CC info. So I was mistaken in my assumption. Sorry:o
The FFL will likely still have to complete the FFL end of the 77r, so you will have to make two trips. One for the submission of the paperwork, one to pick up after your papers are approved.
For the record, the credit card information is entered on the NICS website. It is a completely...
Having read the dealer's guide a couple of times, I do not see any directions regarding printing out forms. All it says is that the final transfer work is done via the portal, and once the firearm transfer is complete, everything goes into archived status. No further instructions are given. If I...
I have about a dozen 18" X 24" corrugated signs. I'll save them- PM me for collection. I was hoping to be able to join the picket line this year if I get some time off.
I also have a bunch more of these that have marker writing on the back. Don't know if those are of any use?
OK, I'm the weirdo here. I have a G17 and Ruger SR9C, and past 20- 25' I can't get any consistency with 115gr. 124 and 147 tear the center out of targets, but 115 goes all over the place with both pistols. It's like they all exit the barrel and just veer off in any direction. I am currently on a...
50 cal cans
I picked up 10 from Mdeng. As stated above, good condition. My only problem is that I seem to have underestimated how many I would need... Mdeng, it looks like you will be hearing from me as soon as I scratch a few $$$ together.
Sorry for this thread-jack, but does anyone have a...
I rounded slightly and polished the bolt where it makes contact with the hammer on cocking. I also had overspray inside the receiver (not a blued model) that had to be removed, then a little 400 grit to smooth the finish in the receiver and the bolt snaps back and forth. The padded stop is a...
Subscribed! Thanks, Fidelity, you always have great thought processes. The questions you ask are almost always ones that I have had rolling around in the back of my mind. Another ongoing lesson from the MDS folks.
Hmm, this is very interesting. I purchased a Winchester 1873 in 357 about a year and a half ago. I had a Sellier & Bellot 357 round split just like that. I blamed it on ammo and got an R/A from S&B to send it back. They replaced it with Magtech. I haven't shot it much since then, so I'll make it...
LOL, I just subscribed to this thread because it has every bit of information I will ever need! I can now search MDS properly, and with all the links provided I can probably answer any question I have in the future. Now, don't anyone start wising off and get this thing locked. Between this and...
It has been my experience that some cans have a significant POI change. I have a 556 can that lowers impact about 4 1/2 in at 100 yds. However, my Griffin Checkmate has little or no change, and my YHM 762 can has little to no change.
My 15-22 eats everything I feed it:D I'm a big fan of the Automatch in all of my 22's, rifle or pistol.
Have never tried Quiets, though. When shooting suppressed, I like CCI standard velocity, all I hear is the bolt and the bullet hitting the paper...Click-Thwap! Then some giggling...
