      I have a barreled 1903 receiver, I want to have the old barrel removed and a new barrel put on. Can anybody recommend a gunsmith that is familiar with 1903's?

      S&W and Colt 1917 what ammo is best

      I've read a couple of forums about what the best ammo to shoot in a Colt or S&W 1917, some say don't shoot fmj ball and others say that fmj is what they were designed for. Anyone with experience shooting fmj? Just acquired a Colt recently, have not fired it yet.
