      Can anyone point me to a shop in southern MD, preferably near Lexington park, that can do a complete re-bluing of an old Savage Model 219 single shot .22 Hornet for me at a reasonable price?

      I dont mind buying the ammo at the ranges as there is not a huge profit on gun sales and owners use that to increase their already meager profit margins or the backstops have a specific rating. Plus that allows me to save the good stuff for anyone who may decide to make an unannounced visit...

      Thats part of the reason i drive clear from lexington park to there as transfer fees here are insane, plus they have always been good to me.

      After this pickup i will no longer be purchasing any regulated firearms in MD. A 7mm mag, a 17 hmr, and a 20 ga are next on my list. Everything else will be done when i get back to VA.

      I have always treated them with respect and wouldnt change that now. They have always treated me good there and respect whatever they decide. If i have to wait the long haul so be it.

      Did they contact you or did you stop by the shop and inquire? I have tranferred multiple firearms through them over the last year and have a DC letter. Also took possession of the last transfer May 4th.
