      Thanks guys. And the gun has to have a fixed stock with no flash suppressor and an under 20 round magazine right? I wish it didn't have to be like that but that's what I saw when I was looking around.

      I am new to this site and I just turned 18 last year and I am looking to buy a gun. Does anyone know the law about buying a Smith and Wesson m&p 15 .22? Is it regulated because it is an AR-15 look alike and can I buy it at 18? Maryland has some confusing gun laws.
