      Do you carry at home?

Years ago when I lived in Balto city, 2nd floor apt. I was chilling in the living room watching TV and within a split second two dudes with ski masks had guns pointed at me. Even if I had one on me it would have been taken. They left with $1. It happens when you least expect it and differently...

      Slide too heavy to rack

Thanks everyone, all great replies and points. We’ll refrain from replacing the spring and see if he’s interested in another pistol. He tried the method where you push the frame and hold the slide however that was a no go. Problem is two fold, weak pinch of slide and not sting enough to...

      Slide too heavy to rack

Looking for recommendations for an older family member who is having difficulty chambering and clearing rounds from his Glock 22. He recent got out of rehab and doesn’t have the strength in his hands to pull it all the way back. Would a 15 or 16lb spring be easier to rack yet still function...

      Egyptian Maadi Price Check?

Nice rifle for sure, you’ll get $1,500 these days especially if it has Arabic markings. They definitely are not getting cheaper. I paid $150 for my crutch stock years ago and was lucky I got it as they were difficult to find. Now the wood stocks are selling for upwards of $300 alone.

      Sauer 38H German Police Eagle/C

Man, nice find. I’m usually not as lucky as you were but I do find some cool stuff though.

      Picked up a workhorse 9mm

I had a KP-89 which was my first handgun. A co-worker of mine got the P95. At the time I didn’t care much for the P95 as I thought of it as a plastic gun. Now days you’re hard pressed to find a hand gun that’s not made of plastic.

Arsenal SAM7r Bolt Carrier Compatibility Question

Romanian AKM carrier will not work in a milled Bulgarian SAM7R. I tried two AKM carriers in mine, Romanian and Russian and neither would go into battery, with or without a bolt in the carrier. The milled carrier impacts the right side of the trunnion, whereas the stamped carrier impacts the left...

      Yugoslavian M57

Check out Razor Arms for a set of grips. They will transform the feel and ergonomics of the pistol dramatically.

How long is the wait to get the C&R license now?

Finally received my renewal. ATF called me a few days before it expired and told me I needed to fill in section 7a and 7b that requests the number of firearms I had acquired and sold over the past 3 years. I didn’t originally fill that out as at the top of the form it states to Fill out sections...

      Long range rifle builder

Thanks gentlemen, I’m actually asking for a friend of mine who’s not a member here. But it sounds like caliber will be 7mm-08,Krieger 1/9 Barrel, lone peak or deviant action, in a McMillin or Boyd’s stock. Not a Rem 700 as I originally thought. He plans on buying all the parts and just needs...

      Long range rifle builder

Can someone recommend a local builder for a long range Remington 700 build? Preferably someone that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg. Thanks

      M1 Carbine Headspace Question

I’d like to get mine tested. I shoot it without issues however makes you wonder. However purchasing gauges for each caliber can get quite expensive

      Sig Romeo 5

I’m a fan of the Primary Arms red dots. The Sig is less expensive however I’ve watched torture tests where the PA dots held up in extreme conditions. If you have one weapon to equip Aimpoint makes sense, but once you start swapping from one to the other it makes sense just having a dedicated...

How long is the wait to get the C&R license now?

Sent in renewal 56 days ago and haven’t received the paperwork yet. I even checked the Letter of Authorization box to receive a LOA but nothing so far. Anyone else have to wait this long for a renewal?

      CZ50

Unfortunately, me. Was into more modern types at the time. Not gonna pay $300 for o e now though. I did grab a CZ50 from classic and really like it. The condition was excellent with all bluing intact. Would I buy a second, probably not. The weight is a little more than what I prefer for a...

      My CMP M1911A1 (Remington Rand)

Don’t get me wrong, I would shoot it it too, not frequently though. I’d want to keep that in the same condition as I received it. Too many other 1911’s out there for that. I’d put it on display so others could enjoy it too.

      My CMP M1911A1 (Remington Rand)

I would hang that one up on the wall, or display on my desk. Congrats on owning that.

      M57 Bling

Thought I’d share a little Yugo M57 bling with you folks. Picked ithis one up on C&R for a great price and it doesn’t appear to have been used very often. The slide was fairly tight and it cleaned up nice after the cosmoline removal. Looking forward to shooting it. Anyone else have a chrome version?
