How in the world would they check this. Run the serial number on the spot? Same with anything banned.
I guess a copy of paperwork. Im getting around to a build on a stripped receiver that I bought prior to the ban.
Just wondering what others are doing. Has anyone been confronted?
Seems...
Stop in at a DNR office or at the MVA. Bel Air has on at the MVA. Talk to them about it. Take the hull number if it has one and any other info on it. They helped me greatly in the past on something similar.
Talked with a gunsmith at the show. He had an old marlin lever gun with a straight stock. Looked like a Winchester. Our conversation revolved around quality of both through the years. Long story short, he praised the quality of the Newer lever Marlins from the past few years. Said they...
I have the super Blackhawk hunter in 44 mag. Bisley grip. The grip is a little longer and feels better in my hand. My pinky finger hung off of the plow style grip. I feel like I have better control with the Bisley. Love shooting it. It shoots well. My finger does get banged around by the...
Hunted the shore this evening. Nothing but a few birds that knew exactly where they were going. Heard lots of slug guns going off. Kind of told us the locals knew to spend their time deer hunting.
Maybe there should be a sticky to list these ridiculous thinking companies.
You can see how well the HQL law is working in Baltimore City, these signs are
just as ridiculous and if companies like this are going political, everyone needs
to know.
OP, thanks for the info.
So, if I purchase a handgun online or from another individual, it has to be transferred to MD through an ffl who will charge a transfer fee
If I purchase a handgun, in MD from XXX gun shop, there should be no transfer fee
+ $10 MSP for both
Going to purchase a 1911. Ruger, Sig or Colt. Leaning towards Colt.
Does anyone know of a shop that might stock a few to do a side by side comparison. Probably go stainless with the Ruger or Sig. Colt, not sure.
Going to be one of the three. I like features of all. Any opinions would...
If you plan to hunt, the most important piece of advice that I can offer is to get a
full size deer target. Practice distances from straight down out to 20yds. Turn the deer to different angles. Learn how the arrow will pass through a deer and what vitals you will take out. It makes a huge...
The original grips moved slightly. I tighten the grip screw and cracked the one side. Its gotten worse over the last few years and now its cracked all the way through. Don't really like the look of the grey laminate. Looking for other options. Maybe walnut or cocobolo.
Need grips for a Super Blackhawk hunter bisley. Anyone know someone local that makes grips? I can get the original grips from Ruger, but I have not found anyone that makes after market grips for this particular handgun.
