Thanks thedutchtouch for the link. Very good information.
The following sentence is what concerns me in regards to carrying without a permit. " Although the law does not specifically mention electronic control devices, they could be considered dangerous weapons."
The more I search the more confusing the laws become regarding owning and carrying a taser. What is Maryland law in regards to owning and carrying a taser? How does this apply to someone who has a carry permit and someone who does not? I do not see tasers specifically mentioned in the code...
I have recently received approval from the ATF for an AR-15 SBR. I understand the 29" OAL rule but have a few questions.
Does a 10.5" barrel chambered in 5.56 need to be marked, or advertised, as HBAR? Can't say I've ever seen one marked as such.
Can I change out the upper to other calibers...

So, if you register your braced pistol with the ATF Maryland let's you keep the brace on the pistol, if it's under 26" OAL, but no normal stock allowed. It would need to be 29" to allow a normal stock?
"Therefore the 29" rule doesn't apply to braced firearms"
Has this actually been confirmed with MSP or is this just an interpretation of the advisory that was issued. I've read this over at least 10 times and it's still confusing to me. It states that braced handguns are still considered...

No, it's mounted to the magazine tube with an adapter from tacstar. The description says barrel mount so I guess you could do that as well.

I have a Remington 11-87 Sportsman with a matte finish receiver and a parkerized 18.5" barrel. The parkerized barrel looks great with the matte finish.
