HOW to APPLY for a MARYLAND Carry Permit

They are likely verifying legitimacy of the business. Have the bank verify the business that exists, the general nature of the transactions, and the fact that it functions as a business.

      Disapproved

When did you: Have your interview? Send your e-mail inquiry? What e-mail address did you use to submit your inquiry? Seems so random in regards to responses from them.

      Worth the drive?

The drive can be harsh if during a "9-5" workday. Assuming you are coming from directly North, I-83 is the main roadway. It can be brutal coming towards the city, then around the beltway. Going back is miserable as well. I guess one could come by way of Westminster, etc. and bypass the city...

      Which M&P9 to go with?

Consider a M&P 9c. Its a compact version of the full size. Can choose with or without a safety. Small enough to be a carry handgun.

      MY CARRY PERMIT IS DENIED!!!

Verify business operations. I'm sure it's part of their background check and not necessarily to support G&S. Especially since you aren't including it as a basis of your specific G&S.

      Ruger LC9

Good point. Other double stack 9 mm compact for carry may be M&P 9c. Compared to the LCP (single stack), they are wider but may be fine. The M&P is made with and without a safety. The LCP safety is quite firm and likely wont be an issue for a left hand shooter. It is somewhat snappy, so it...

      My first Glock!

Like loving multiple children or animals, you'll love it as much as your other guns..just for different reasons.

      MY CARRY PERMIT IS DENIED!!!

Well, I'd maybe stop and think, "what is the reason for the documents for which they are requesting?". But I'm open to providing many things. Tax ID numbers are like a social security numbers. And one provides that on the application for background checks. Locating the legitimacy of a...

      MY CARRY PERMIT IS DENIED!!!

By the time one completes the application, tax records are an easy reach, through proper channels, if anyone wanted it. The moment one finds oneself in a situation in which they wish they had a weapon, their life is forever changed. And if a permit holder "uses" their permit, carries...

      Ruger LC9

Ultra thin. Small. Light weight. Snappy. Double action. Hammer. Long trigger pull but can do trigger mod to improve it. Shoots well. Overall I like it, but don't love it. Compare it to an XDs 9 mm and an M&P Shield to see what fits you best.

      Springfield XDS vs. S&W Shield

I love my XD-S and my wife likes the feel of it over an LC9. She shoots the XD-S better too. The frames of the two XD-S versions are the same, 6.3" long and 4.4" tall with a width of 1". Funny thing is according to one review, the empty mag weight of the XD-S 45 is 21.7 oz compared to the 9...

      MY CARRY PERMIT IS DENIED!!!

Seems like you don't need a handgun permit to defend against a thief. Just reach into your product line and light a match..well you get it. :D

      MY CARRY PERMIT IS DENIED!!!

Not at all..just a "regular Joe". He obtained a permit 4 years ago which had restrictions for business (owner). His renewal had no restrictions. He did nothing different in the renewal process other than filling in the blanks.
