Not true, read the original Bill text, if you have the receipt of purchase prior to June 22. 2022 you're legal, registering was an option. Just an FYI DSP or what ever Dept that managed certificates never function as it was supposed too as written in Bill text.
I agree with you Audit, spoke to FFL's that were not for it, rather keep the NICS system. I opposed it @ DSSA meeting with Jeff be careful what you wished for and yet they walked into the trap with state run NICS check and now the permit system.
Now they will have another court case to file...
Its close to me too but spoke to shooter some time ago they shoot paper not steel. If they managed those shoots with Steel would be more fun for me, I can always shoot paper.
Don't forget the new comers from NJ and NY that move here for less taxes but bring their deep blue politics with them. Sussex Co. has more registered Republicans than Dems but they didn't show up Tuesday. Lost 2 Republican seats Dist. 20 and Dist. 6 so Dems have more of super majority in...
Thanks Audit for the reply, agree
What's also amazing DE doesn't have a State forum like MDS, thought DSSA might add one after they started using Constant Contact that our club suggested when DSSA held a meeting with all DE clubs several years ago. The issue MDS has more volunteers than DSSA...
Adit,
Just wonderful decision by DE Supreme Court defending Delaware's Constitution. The House passed these Bills well knowing they be over turned. So with that said surprised DSSA didn't file a "State" case due to 2A protections in DE Constitution? Federal District Court won't hear the case...
I've heard the DE carry course not acceptable as have to take the MD 16 hour course, received Email Delaware Tactical offering the MD W&C course. Does MD required copy of the DE permit ? What's the story on interviews if requested by MSP?
RETURN (Repealing Excise Tax on Unalienable Rights Now) our Constitutional Rights Act of 2022 or the RETURN our Constitutional Rights Act of 2022
This bill repeals the excise taxes on firearms and ammunition and on bows and arrows. It also repeals the excise tax on transferring and making...
Lots of riparian and squatter Blind Sites in Baltimore and especially PG County which is a game changer and don't like the word "designed" public land which is a gamble what's left out?
Be careful what you wish for
The General Assembly has the final say, just an FYI, majority of Riparian blind sites to protect shore line from hunting so this is a possibility of objections by some Legislators that protect their shore line constituents.
So are you saying if Counties opt out the Sponsor should pull the Bill ?
When GA passed Sunday deer hunting not all counties joined and opted out via "Home Rule" clause while some joined the legislation years later to reduce deer populations. So here's the Sad or Bad news, if SB 160 passed and Counties did opt out you would still need to pursue USFWS for Sunday...

Sunday waterfowl hunting has failed in committee in 2 prior sessions while you have 2 new Sponsors, others have not signed on that I can see yet. The other issue Maryland waterfowlers are not in agreement on adding Sundays as with the current season structure and splits would end middle of...
Those appear to be original TEXT of SB 3 & SB 6; those Bills were re-written in the House, the bills were made much better but don't have the TEXT today. The House didn't vote on the revision or either so assume the original TEXT is still the "reality".
Audit should had more to end of last...
