      That's great about NC. I was just reading about the laws there as I just got my Utah and was disappointed they currently prohibit CC anywhere that alcohol is served or distributed. So if they add restaurants that will be great.

      Yes this is how the MSP memo was worded that if FFLs have a reason to believe an individual is not prohibited, they can do the 8th day releases by following the process layer out.

      I posed this question to a FFL and he agrees an HQL will be required to "transfer" a firearm after 10/1. This is why they are slowing down to a crawl IMO. Dealers won't be required to give a refund because they are following the law and have the product as advertised. This is gonna get ugly...

This is ridiculously frustrating as I am in the process of moving and stuck between picking up in MD or asking my FFL to ship because VA requires me to be a resident (have DL) for 30 days before a purchase.       War vet arrested for "rudely displaying" rifle

      I think it makes it worse because our vets and armed forces fight for our rights only to come home and be deprived of theirs. I think it also makes the LE look worse because they are accusing someone of dangerous firearms handling who has more training than they do.

      So even though I'm exempt from training I have to wait 30 to get the license after 10/1 and the wait time for the purchase? You can buy and submit license at same time so the wait time is concurrent?
