      I have a S&W M&P 10-22 and love it. It has handled every ammo brand/velocity I have thrown at it.

      Yes - Put I checked luggage. You will not have any issues. Keeping in original packaging is also good advice.

      Agree w wilcam47. Best is to let your father in law pay for it and pay him back. I tried to buy some Ruger mags and have them shipped to my son in law in FL. Ruger cancelled my order bc the billing address on my cc was in MD.
