Gamo piston powered .22 caliber break barrel rifle is a very good start. I picked up a wood stocked version at Cabalas for under $200 on sale. Add an inexpensive deer scope and it's more accurate than I am.
Army is a little nose heavy but fun to shoot. Definitely requires patience and relaxation because it takes forever to load and quick to empty. Fort Chambers in Chambersburg is a fun spot to visit and get consumables. I think I'm up to 5 pistols and 3 BP ACW era rifles.
Gerrymandering district lines is only a Republican tactic according to most Liberal trolls on Facebook. Had some interesting discussions with several about how blatant MD Dems are about it but they still said R's are worse overall so...
Picked up a NOS early Amisport 1861 Springfield repop to go along with my Ami P53 Enfield for about a quarter of the cost of an original. Oddly enough it was the only thing I really went looking for.
Absolutely love walking the show but man does it get a bit ripe in the hall with all the...
I have one of the wood stocked Gamo game hunter's with the gas piston in .22 and it's pretty good about dropping squirrels with the cheaper heavy Crossman pellets, especially under 15 yards. It still zings a random flier every once in a while but overall not too bad. Damned tree rats dug up my...
Made it to the '19 Show. Absolutely amazing stuff that you'll only see elsewhere in museums. Medieval armor, yep. Samurai stuff, yep. Picked up some repop BP pistola's for less than retail. Looking for an 1862 Springfield real or repop this time around. :)
About 40% of the cars running around Hagerstown already have WV plates so why not?
Probably the only way I-81 will ever get widened to three lanes too.
Historical arms don't seem to be sky rocketing like modern stuff is. ACW is my target era and I recently picked up a '62-63 Barnett built Enfield Cavalry Carbine in very good condition for what I consider a reasonable price. No direct Confederate lineage but nearly all of these that were...
I have a Remmy model 10 or 12 pump shotgun with a broken extractor spring. Made a couple but they broke and Numrich hasn't had any in stock for years...
What's been said above, find out how hard it is and make it as hard as it needs to be. I assume that they would want the hand part to be a little softer than what it's actuating.
