I got the 10/22 receiver and barrel from Kidd. Barrel is 6” long, but it has a pistol brace and is legally a pistol. Fires standard 22LR, and is crazy quiet with the suppressor.
That gun is chambered in 300 Blackout. The ACOG is zeroed for supersonic bullets, and the offset Aimpoint is zeroed for subsonics. It is much easier (for me) to use two optics with independent zeros instead of dialing a scope to account for the difference between supers and subs.

Amazing experience! Got there on time, had the upper, no surprises! :)
Bought a DD V7S upper w/ Gemtech carrier and ASR FH from him for $600 cash. No problems at all, we got the deal done fifteen minutes ahead of schedule. Mounted it up on my Engage SBR lower, and it looks suitably swank.
If the stock dings are shallow, you can steam them out yourself. There are some youtube videos and articles on how to do it.
If it really really bothers you Cole Gunsmithing (www.colegun.com) sells replacement stock sets.
Same thing happened while I was stationed in Hawaii. 50 Cal round ended up in a house and they banned them at the Koko Head range. Everyone knew it probably came from the nearby Marine firing range, but they couldn't tell the Marines to stop firing 50 BMG.
I agree! Just snagged one from 2A Sales and finished it out with a Leupold VXIII 6.5-20x40 Extended Focus Range, EGW Base, TPS Rings, and my Silencerco Spectre II.
