Since it came with the case, I decided to make good use of it:
I was thinking about getting a 1911-style air pistol, just because.
Here's what I see so far:
* Remington P-1911 RAC
* Daisy Winchester Model 11
* Tanfoglio Witness 1911
Budget? I like to keep it around $100.
What's your suggestion (Or maybe something else in 1911 style)?
Thanks! :D...
I have recently purchased a Crossman 1377 pistol (and yes I plan to [lightly] mod it - stock and scope) and I've read and seen on Youtube that when you store them you should (prior to storing them) put one or two pumps in them.
Two questions:
Is this needed?
If so why?
I recently...
I have this gun:
ATI GSG STG-44 (replica) .22
And I want to scope it:
It will look something like this (minus the German clothing)
Here is the mount:
Here's the scope I want to use:
Simmons 22 Mag Scope (4-Power)
I measured the width of the base and it is about 3/4 of an inch wide.
So...

In case you don't what they look like - here's a (interweb) pic:
As a military-arms collector, this kinda of peaks interest. :party29:
Obviously I would like to have a real one but can't for a couple of reasons:
1) Rare...
I have a Mossberg 500 12ga shotgun that I put a wooden dowel in to serve as plug (so it would only hold 3 shells). Well that was years ago and now due to moisture (I'm assuming) the dowel has swollen enough so it won't slide slide out.
Short of taking it to a gun shop, anyone have a...

And for all of you don't own a Enfield (you know who you are! :sad20: ) you need to get one!
I saw that Big 5 has them on sale this week ($249.99).
Just wondering has anyone had experience with them?
(Good or Bad)
I saw a couple of videos on Youtube and most people like them but it looks like it's a bear to take apart to clean.
Since I've had addition to my humble C&R, I thought would up my photo records, here is the C&R Collection:

I have a several C&R rifles I want to put a scout-scope configuration and I was looking at several mounts, one of the them is S&K Instamounts.
The problem I have is the price; the one I am looking at is about $70.00 (which seems a bit pricy) plus mounts and plus a scope.
However the last thing...
I picked this from Big 5 Sporting Goods last week (they were on sale: $23 instead or normal price of $44).
I was kind of on a whim, so I don't know a lot about them. It looks and feels good. I saw a couple of video's on youtube and there most of the comments were good.
:D
Any thought?

I've been for something that:
1) Won't beat the crap out of my shoulder
2) Isn't a bolt-action (I've been collection nothing but bolt actions so far)
A couple of things:
* Numbers are all matching except the stock (which I don't think is original)
This is based on my research and things I've...
