      myrtle grove today

Went to MG this morning. Got a bench @ 9:20. Left @ 11:20 when there were 3 other benches open. Good group. Obeyed rules, no problems with 'Cold-Hot'. Some people were 'raking up' their areas, but I was the only one policing my brass.

Myrtle Grove WMA range- our range

Was there today from 9:20 to 11:20. Good crowd. Everyone observing the rules. No lines, open benches...surprise! No 'Cold-Hot' issues. A couple of observations: #1 - I think rules should be clearly posted at the 'Check-In' (or for a better lack of term - Permit Station) and one should...

In Their Own Words; A Blueprint to Ban Handguns by Joe Curran

More people, every year, are killed by motor vehicles than handguns. Every year! Changing 'handguns' to 'automobiles' makes more sense. But, then again, the goal of the Fascists is not safety or regulation . The goal is control.

      Wal Mart has ammo!!

Picked up a couple of 100 pack Winchester 9mm & .40 S&W yesterday @ Prince Fredneck. Restricted to 3 boxes at this store. 9 was $26 & change, .40 was $36 & change. They had about 10 boxes 5.56 in 20 round boxes & some 7.62x39 Tula for $5.17 also. Lots of 20 gauge. No .22. The employees...

At the Grove today (oops, I mean 'yesterday'). Good crowd. Got there early. Line formed early & there was about an hour + wait. Everybody was pleasant & obeyed the rules. No 'gangbangers' or 'Range Nazis'. Good day. Good shoot.

80% lowers In stock and guaranteed delivery BY Oct 1st

So I, as a private citizen & allowed by the BATF, cannot 'manufacture' a 'listed' firearm after Oct. 1 in the People's Progtard Paradise of Merryland?

      Myrtle Grove and Henry

Somebody needs to take that pic of "Henry" & Photoshop some Wanted Posters. "Wanted for Drooling Pervertery & General Assholeness. Known to Blow his 'Whistle' Inappropriately" & post them at MG. Better yet, whomever is next to him needs to bring an airhorn. Every time his blows his...

80% lowers In stock and guaranteed delivery BY Oct 1st

Does anyone know if the new law bans 80% lowers after Oct. 1? Doesn't make a lot of sense to ban them as they are considered 'paperweights' & not 'firearms'. But, Merryland is nutty that way.

Barack Obama: 'I go shooting all the time'

Y'all are missing The Won's statement. When he said "We go shooting all the time..." He was referring to 'shooting hoops', or 'shooting' a game of golf... http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2012/05/27/nyt-white-house-correspondent-obama-hates-camp-david-because-theres-n See...

      Feinstein's Assault Weapons Ban- Live Broadcast 11AM 1/24/2013 - cpan3

BINGO!!! We have a WINNER!!! :party29: Banter semantics all you want. The bill specifically states that it bans all semiautomatic rifles & pistols that have a threaded barrel. That mean just about every semiautomatic firearm, unless you have some sort of smooth-bore flintlock...

It's by design. The Gubmint doesn't want citizen volunteers. They know better than you. You can't possibly do anything without their involvement. Haven't you noticed how many Soup Kitchens and Church groups are cited for 'health code' violations and shut down? It's by design. :mad54...

      moving out of waldorf

Live up against the Constellation power lines in PF. Used to shoot a lot out back. But they put up a development where a farm used to be across from me. So, I don't shoot much out back anymore, just test fires & sighting. Someone about a 1/2 mile up the line on the opposite side pops 'em off...
