any love for the S&W 1000 series? I've shot the S&W 1006, Glock 20 & Colt Delta Elite side-by-side with 10mm full power and hand loads and I think the S&W shot & felt the best.
I think where GEN4 & GEN5 shine is their friendliness to left-handed shooters. GEN4 allowed the magazine release to be moved to the RH side of the gun. GEN5 also comes with ambidextrous slide stop levers.

I ran 6.0gr of longshot under a 230gr plated RN (X-treme) bullet out of a full size 1911 that felt great and made power factor for IDPA. powder burned completely.
mikey & his team invest a lot of time and put on one hell of a match. from the stage designs to the large prize table (lots of guns), its definitely a great match. I know registration is closed for this year, but consider it next year. sure beats mowing the grass or just punching holes in paper...
I thought there was a model of choate pistol grip stock that fit the 870/1100/1187 family. if so, would you rather mount it to an 870 pump shotgun and not deal with the 1100 semi-auto just in case it doesn't cycle?
