thoughts on an inexpensive C&R 38 special revolver for the wife

how much knowledge do you have on revolvers? do you know what to look in buying a used revolver. I would avoid an enfield revolver it is 38 S&W which can be hard to locate and a bit pricy. Be careful about replacing the grips. I have a faux ivory set of grips for a Hi-Power it took one range...

      Enfield rear sight question

If the rifle you have is a mark IV from long branch they had two rear sights I think. one was a peep and post similar to the early M-1 carbine the was the latter type rear sight. I would check on the schematic gun parts corp . has great schematics. I would not use a sight from a jungle Carbine...

      Need M1 Carbine Info

I have heard good reviews on the auto ordnance m-1 Carbine. Fulton Armory seems to be good also. Another option would be a 45 long colt, 44-40, or even a 44 magnum lever action rifle. In most 44 magnum guns you could shoot 44 special just be very careful about bullet selection
