      Haven't seen much moving in my field, but had a late fawn in the yard this morning. May have had just enough meat on it for an appetizer for today if I had had a bow handy.

      freezer in garage?

      We have an upright and a chest in an unfinished, non-temp controlled basement. The chest freezer stays a little colder, but the upright makes things easier to access.

      This. I really like that tool box system. I've used a set of them for my tools for a few years (moderate use, not daily) and they have held up really well. I like them so much I'm setting up a second set for my leather working gear.

      The weather guys seem to think slightly warmer then avg with around avg snowfall. I've noticed more wildlife foraging then normal the past 2 months and it has been 5 years since central md got a good snow storm so we are due.

      Interesting. I didn't apply because the wording I saw made it seem like it was only for new hunters. I'll have to read more carefully next year. Granddad used to hunt them in the 50s-70s. I've seen 1 in 38 years.

      Finding private land this time of year is going to be difficult. Most is friends and family only or no hunting at all. If you hunt archery there is plenty of public land that doesn't get a lot of pressure early in the season. If you spend time with google maps you could probably find some out...
