IMO that is the seller’s duty to specify what type of FFL they are willing to accept. I’ve adopted a policy “if they don’t specify FFL type or specifically exclude 03FFLs” then I assume they accept them. So far it hasn’t really bitten me yet but I did spend some time on the phone a year or two...
I know that much but they made several different versions of the top break and I was trying to figure out what specific version it was and an approximate date range of manufacture.
Came across this revolver and I’m thinking it appears to be a Harrington and Richardson top break shell extracting revolver but I’m not 100% sure or what variation. Also trying to figure out approximate manufacture date.
What I know:
1. Top of the barrel says “HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS...
Interesting exemption
“Between those with demonstrable religious beliefs against have portrait photograph taken of them and who does not possess a license or an identification card of any kind with photographic identification”
I wonder how “demonstrable” is defined? Maybe if some states their...
While in principle I would love to just disregard this law, if I’m selling to someone I don’t know (via the classifieds, etc) I’m not going to risk a criminal record to do so and if I’m buying and the seller is offering to do a private sale I’d probably pass because I don’t know if it’s a setup...
Have them shipped to a friend or relative in a neighboring state and pick them up there.
Set up a private mail box at a UPS store in a neighboring state and have them shipped to your private mail box.
Also Freedom Armory in Glen Rock (exit 8 off interstate 83) will accept magazine orders for...
I’m sure you’re correct. I’m just interested in what kind of information they are after. I got there just after 11 and saw a bunch of people with clip boards and once I confirmed my suspicions that it was a COVID form I left. I wasn’t going to give them any information just to get in and didn’t...
Just received my Tokarev today! My first C&R purchase! It looks like PW Arms Import. I’m trying to figure out the difference between the “SER# M57-001888” and the “171280”. Would the importer have engraved their own serial number on it as well?
I’m just curious... what would keep someone from ordering any random barrel (not marked or advertised as an hbar barrel) and engraving hbar on it themselves? And since there is no definition of “hbar” in law would your self engraved barrel now be legal as part of a rifle build?
Unfortunately for you the demand for .40 has declined significantly in the last few years. I’m going to have to agree with all the other replies in the $250-$300 range. If it was a G26 of the same vintage I would say $350-$375.
Well, I mailed off my application earlier this week! But now I’m starting to think this is going to get expensive! Lol! Thanks everyone for the replies!
I’m interested in getting an O3FFL and think I understand the application process and limits on what you can do with a 03FFL. What I don’t fully understand is the ATF inspection. I understand that the ATF inspection can occur annually and without a warrant and is primarily for inspecting your...
