I moved from frederick to myersville and knew I had to file a form telling the ATF I'd moved, they reissue my C&R with the new address printed on it.
I also had NFA items and had to report that change of address to ATF, too. They wanted notice even before my move.

I bought an O/U shotgun in Texas a couple christmases ago. Drove it back (in the bottom of the trunk, hiding from the wife). No problemo. But it was from an FFL. OP cannot buy from a private seller outright out of state, must go through an FFL. Fed law.
Mine expires in early July, they sent the renewal letter at the beginning of March. I sent it back with a check last week and it just posted. They seem to be on top of things at this point.

For all of the butt-hurt here directed at Mopar, it isn't even on the Moms' radar. If you scan over some of their social media pages, they are going nuts over the Sheriff's "We will not Comply" speech in the overflow room and are sharing the video over and over. That seems to be the "shocker"...
