So Freds in Waldorf is building a gun range.

I don't care if its the best business or not, but in our time of troubling politics the more gun ranges the better. I would rather see more open, than close. :) Go Fred's!! I'll NEVER fill out a log to buy ammo. I also said I'd never register a gun, but that was when I lived in Colorado...

How Many Live In SM & CC Shoot At Myrtle Grove

I live in Calvert and make the drive when the ammo budget has a surplus ;)

      Who are you voting for?

Remember, a vote for Romney IS a vote for Obama because they're identical twins. ;) Eitherway you vote this election you're voting for someone who is FOR STRICT GUN CONTROL "BECAUSE IT WORKS" ...

If you didn't already have enough reason..

If you're still a member of the NRA you ought to reconsider as well. Spend those dues on an Organization that will actually fight for your freedoms, rather than endorse gun grabbing commies like Harry Reid, and Mitt Romney. I'd join jfpo.org, maryland shall issue, the Second Amendment...

      Who are you voting for?

Our calendar is actually LESS accurate than theirs was, by about .25 days a year ;) Thus we needed to implement a leap year to gain the tactical advantage.

Safety is OUR responsibility. I am glad to hear we are taking care to make people aware of that. I don't like people playing with their firearms bolt open, mag out even when I'm down range. Its not good practice.

I drove all the way out to Freestate Gun Range for the "Ball Buster" match a week ago or so, and I forgot the locks to my guns L:( Super FAIL! I have to say that was one of the most embarrassing moments of my shooting career. I hope to get back out there for another one sometime this year...

      myrtle grove today

I always enjoy getting tips and I've been shooting for 20 years. Since I can't see myself shoot unless I'm watching video it helps to have someone pointing out your mistakes and giving you guidance. Nobody knows everything about shooting, so input always helps. Some people just don't like...

Thats pretty good shooting you must not have been using bulk ammo. I want to go put a few downrange with you folks sometime. I need to scope my .22 I think though lol.

wait the .22 was a handgun? I assumed it was a rifle lol. Thats some good shooting. I was there on Thursday and a kid was bragging the whole time about hitting a clay pigeon with a .357 which is a good shot no doubt.

      Recommended gun shop?

If you're going to buy online I've done FFL transfers through Ron's Bay Pro Shop at on 260 right near 4 (just outside Dunkirk) and had no issues. They helped me jump through the hoops and do all of the back flips (and front flips) the State requires.

Myrtle Grove WMA Shooting Range Hours and Rules

It was a WONDERFUL day. There were a couple of yahoos playing with their guns while the range was cold (and loaded or not I don't think that's safe). Someone QUICKLY let them know its safer not to play with them with a cold range, let them know politely and they were much better. Today was a...

      Thinking about getting an AR

I'd go Bravo Company all the way, and build your own. I did this a few months back and its my favorite firearm BY FAR! I got the lower from G and R tactical, and I got the upper from BCM directly. If nothing else get a Bravo Company Bolt Carrier Group. Check out Bravo Company Manufacturing...

Myrtle Grove WMA Shooting Range Hours and Rules

sorry one last question. is it ok to be at the same table if we both have a pass? as in can we both be there at the same time?

Myrtle Grove WMA Shooting Range Hours and Rules

Do you both have to pay to get a pass for the range for the day if you have a spectator and are switching using the same lane? I'm planning on going tomorrow. I want to hit as many of the ranges as I can this year. I've also vowed to enter in some competitive shooting as a New Year's...

newish to the mrytle grove range

I have been to MSAR twice now. The first time there were quite a few LEOs (at least one was security I assume by the uniform) and I saw at least one shooter being taught by a friend which I particularly enjoy. Everyone that day SEEMED to have common sense. I went a second time though and the...

      What are they up to?

I could be wrong but didn't they just give all of these rounds to Mexico? I just read an article about it, I am going to look for it now. Give the cartels the guns, and then their Government the ammo LOL!
