      In Store Rim Fire Available

I stopped in Hafer's Gunshop just west of Hagerstown this morning. They had a pretty good supply of rimfire ammo on the shelf. Prices seemed reasonable, too. I paid 5.97 for 22 shorts. Just about one dollar more than on-line prices and no shipping fees.

      WALMART STAKEOUT?

Does anyone wait for the daily ammo to be brought out as in years past? I am surprised that I haven't seen a discussion about availability given the current supply situation.

      FYI .22 LR AVAILABILITY

Dicks in Frederick has bricks of .22 LR on sale for $24.99. Limit of two per customer. Nice to see it available for a decent price again.

Also, was told they are holding about 100 guns from April still waiting for approval. Just makes me want to gag. I hope to get out of Maryland when my...

      Someone Speeded Things Up!

A big thanks to whomever did whatever they did to make this board speedier. I was getting "long running script" messages before and it took a very long time for pages to load. Averaging 3-4 seconds now and a much more pleasant experience visiting here.

      Handgun Sight DIY Improvement?

I will be picking up an older revolver (someday) with blued sights. I would like to make the sights as visible as possible without replacing them. I am thinking about bright fingernail polish to apply three drops to simulate modern high visibility sights. Does anyone have any better ideas or...
