      I am blind in my right eye and therefore lack binocular perspective. The dot helps me align the front sight more quickly than without. YMMV.

      This will be my initial starter kit now that I have my permit in my wallet. Sig P365XL with SwampFox optic & Wilson Combat Grip in a Bradec IWB holster. When the season changes I may swap over to my G30 in a Brigade Gunleather IWB holster.

      Holy Cow!!!! Just got the email. My MD concealed carry application was just approved!!! IN JUST 25 DAYS!!!!

      @IrishUSAF That readout gives me hope that I’m nearing approval. We submitted on the same day, my app was accepted on 7/11 and I just got my NICS number on 7/25. I also used my DD214 training exemption. I still haven’t gotten the investigator assigned email but it can’t be too far away now.

      @Buff7mm - Misery and anticipation loves company I suppose. I think your estimated timeline is accurate. I'll be TDY for a week without my personal laptop so I'll be unable to check the MDSP portal until 7/28. I bet you'll have your approval before mine.

      Applied on 6/28. Accepted on 7/11. No NICS number on print preview as of today 7/19. I have an HQL and am in AA County. Excited for all of those who have gone before me though!
