      Firearm insurance?

If I remember correctly USAA will put a rider on your homeowners policy to cover firearms. I also think the NRA has a company that issues policies. Mine are covered under my policy with Erie.

Tour of the Sarco, inc Showroom in Easton Pa

When I was a Maryland resident they would not take my C&R for a C&R handgun nor sell me a magazine (face to face at their showroom). I have not forgotten so they do not get 1 penny of my North Carolina money either.

      M1903 vs M1917

Less commonly known fact. Alvin York performed his feats using a 1917 not an ‘03

Request help identifying two WW2 Medals

You need to check the Iron Cross for authenticity. Is the center attracted to a magnet? If so that is good. Does it appear to be 3 piece construction? It needs to be. The ribbon must not glow under black light. If it passes the tests it is most likely authentic. Authentic 2nd Class Iron...

      Ever Been to Sarco?

Visited there when I still lived in MD. Not only will they not sell mags to MD residents they also will not take a C&R from MD. I was an online customer buying parts for years but no more after I saw that policy.

      Luftwaffe Dagger

If original and in good condition it could be worth many $$$ at the current prices. Some of the helmets our uncles and dads brought home that we used to play war with as kids are worth thosands.

Definition of Licensed Firearm Dealer in recently passed HB1021?

This is not to be construed by any means as legal opinion. That said, the FFL 03 (C&R) specifically states that it is not a license to deal in firearms. Hence if that is the license you possess you can not be considered a licensed dealer.

      Assault Rifles Are?

I’ve been bitching about this fact since 92. We have no one with a strong definitive national voice to emphasize the fact that semi auto rifles are not ”assault weapons”. Every time a normal journalist ( I don’t know if any more are left) interviews someone and they refer to an AR as an...

Steer Clear of Duffy's Gun Room

Silly me, I thought “word salads“ were the exclusive diet of VP Kamala. I think the OP has her beat.

      Moving out of Maryland

Congrats to your friend. I left 8 years ago and carefully loaded my firearms unloaded, wrapped in bubble wrap and stacked in boxes in the back of truck with no issues. I agree with the prior folks no notice to the Peoples Republic when departing necessary. The only LEO notification required in...

Timonium Gun Show THIS WEEKEND Apr 30th – May 1st

I used to enjoy stopping at his booth at the old Silverado show in Upper Marlboro. I think I still have a big bag of patches I bought from him.

What Is the Penna Equivelent to Maryland Shooters

I can’t speak for PA but since I left the Peoples Republic I found 2 forums here in the Carolinas and neither of them are as good as MDS for info and discussion IMHOP.

When I lived in MD I attended the Chantilly show many times and never had an issue with my C&R.
