I just won some ammo in a GB auction, and the seller came back with "Sorry, Montgomery County, no ship." I told him about the situation and sent him the link, and guess what - "Looks good - will ship tomorrow".
Seller's name is klean. Patronize him - maybe it will clue in some others.

Someone recently asked about inexpensive uppers, so I thought I would pass this along. It's a link to a discussion on the CMP boards about a Gunbroker auction of LRB receivers. It includes the link to the auction.
I thought I'd post the link to the discussion rather than the auction itself...
I am going to be sending a bunch of hi-cap mags out of state to be modified. It occurred to me that there might be a problem shipping them back. So my question is, is it considered "receiving" a magazine if you already own it?

Lately there have been a number of posting with titles like "Unbelievable" and the entire body is a YouTube link, or some pictures hosted elsewhere. For those of us behind firewalls, this is...irritating. I'm requesting that when a video or photos are in the post that the poster be required to...
I just got another CZ-52, in what appears to be VG condition - original park, numbers match, and no I didn't pay $300. It also appears that the rollers have been replaced - they are all shiny and someone drove the pins with a prick punch :mad54:
When I looked at it closer I noticed something...
Nevermind! They sent me Polish
Update: I finally made it to my parents (5 1/2 hours in a car, with 2 kids, and I was only going to SEPA!). I opened the can and found headstamps with "21"(in a circle), 33, 18(most, I saw some 17, 16, and 13) and 52, and the round count in the can was correct...
There are a large number of people who are interested in the 7.62x25 cartridge, but all the existing handguns are single stack. So, it looks like if we want a modern double stack semi-auto handgun, we need to figure it out ourselves.
First, the cartridge dimensions. The 7.62x25 case diameter...

My Dad recently picked up 3 guns from someone at work, and one of them is a relatively rare Mosin. Since he is not quite as computer oriented as I am, he asked me to research and sell it for him.
Here's the rub - I have my C&R, so I know I need to log it in. But will selling it for my Dad...
Decisions, decisions...

I went to do my C&R mailings, and started to look at the list. One thing led to another:innocent0, so...[drumroll]:

So, I sent my application in on the 15th, and my CC has already been charged the 18th. Does that mean anything? I would hope that it means that my license is already in the mail, but I'm not stupid. I figure that BATFe Accounts Receivable is like the IRS - the only part of the organization...
I see a number of suppliers have cheaper prices when one buys 3 or more of a weapon. I know that buying C&R guns and immediately "reselling" them would invite questions of 1) are you a business, and 2) straw buyers. But what about 3 or more C&R holders?
I'm thinking 2 scenarios:

I've just moved to the area and need a place to shoot - centerfire primarily, not a big scattergun guy. I live within 5 miles of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase chapter of the IWLA and their facilities appear very nice.
Is anyone here a member? Most of my experience with "ranges" back home in PA...
I just moved to Poolesville from a townhouse in Gaithersburg, and it's time to get back into guns - I grew up in PA, and I left behind the small arsenal collected by Dad and my brother, so it's time to catch up.
I discovered MDShooters while researching for a C&R. I sent away the forms...
