      My Remington 597

      I have the same 597. I had similar problems with the Golden Bullets too, generally a misfeed every 20 or so rounds. Had great results with the CCI mini-mag and CCI Standard Velocity, and the Federal Auto Match. Have only Remington factory 10 round magazines.
