Thanks guys for all the information. Everything helps. I just bought an auto prime so i think i will prime my brass first before I start to load. I think it will make things a lot easier. Im slowly working with it and im sure that it will be a much faster process once i get the full hang of...
That is good to know....I will certainly be calling up lee about this issue. Yeah I have had problems with the case feeding mechanism but none more annoying than the case primer feed issues. Thanks for the info.
I have read the ABC's of Reloading book. I wanted to get some advice from people that have had experience with all this stuff. I think you can sit there and read until you are blue in the face but you wont actually know how things work until you get out there and try it. I just want to make...
I would sell this one if i had another one to buy....dont know if im willing to shell out the money for a dillon quite yet....I was thinking about the Hornady LnL. I have heard good things about it.
Yeah Im beginning to see that. You said you have 3 Dillon Presses? Where did you purchase them from? And do you have any old equipment that you want to sell?
I have not been reloading for long and I already know that the Lee 1000 Is a pain in the Ass to use!! Took me about 2 hours to load 100 bullets :sign03:. Actually it was 94 bullets...I got frustrated and kept having to fix things along the way. Dont know if any of you have had the same...
Well I plan on shooting these out of my Sig and Walther P99. Unfortunately I dont have anything else to test with. I would like to get a tester gun but dont know what to get.
Thanks!! That is good advice I wish I had before I started this current batch. I only made about 100 so i think i will try these out and see how they perform.
Little afraid of testing the bullets. Any recommendations of how and where to test these newly made bullets?
Im looking for anyone who has been reloading .40 S&W that can give some advice. When I started reloading I consulted a couple of books....I looked at the recent Lyman, and Speer books and the discrepancy between the amount grains kinda made me think twice. The range was anywhere from 6.3-7.0...
Good Advice! I will certainly be as careful as I can when I start to reload. Let me know the next time you go shooting, would love to go and meet up, talk a little more.
I think that has been ingrained in my head after reading different posts....pay attention to detail and double and triple check everything. I certainly want to be careful and I dont want to blow myself up or anybody else up. I know that it can be fun, I just want to make sure I am doing...
I have heard good things about the Hornady Book as well as the Speers. I think I will pick those up this weekend. Didnt know that .40 S&W was that much more difficult or tricky.
I have yet to find someone that reloads rifle ammo, but I think that is what I will primarily be reloading. I...
I checked out IWLA in Germantown and I am looking at joining this November. They said that that is the next initiation class thing and I will only pay for 1 year and get 2 months free.
I am going to reload 40 S&W, 223 rounds....Ill probably start to load 45 ACP, as I want to get a 1911, and possibly shotgun rounds at some point. I already picked up the ABC's of Reloading and I read through it. I want to pick up other books to read so that I can get all the information I can...
I thought the exact same thing. They should have reversed either the helmets or the shoulders. I highly doubt they will wear it again, but I still love em.
