While we're on the subject of HQL...
Can someone "summarize" the current HQL process, cost and time frame?
I'm too tired right now to go through 100 threads on the subject.
Thanks
Actually I was at Continental yesterday.
Didn't have time to try a bunch of revolvers or shoot them.
However the girlfriend did shoot a Walther P22, and she fell in love with it.
So easy for her to hold and operate, although she had a little trouble with the magazine release which is...
A lot of great suggestions guys, thanks for the input.
I know a safety on a revolver is pointless. But at least I can tell her I asked, and give her all your feedback. Which will only mirror most of what I've mentioned anyway.
Training and practice is all the is needed. Aside from something...
Oh I hear you :D
But right now she has safety on the brain, and being a new shooter is still kind of nervous.
I'm working her through it, but a safety wouldn't even be high on my list lol
We've considered those, although have not shot them yet..
We're thinking about a revolver just because the operation will be easier. And she won't have to struggle with racking the slide, magazines, jams etc etc.
Girlfriend looking for a range gun, but she has tiny hands.
She is 4'10" (at best) and has tiny hands lol.
She has shot my Glock 19 and a Sig P226 9mm, but both being double stack the grip is kind of wide for her.
It makes it difficult to get good finger placement on the trigger, and to...
Kind of why I'm asking if I specifically need the lease holder's (Dad's) permission.
The father knows I am staying there with his daughter, as he asked "her" to stay there the whole week and house-sit, while they are away.
Although she lives there, she's been coming over to see me most...
I assumed I need the renters permission, not the landlords.
(or the permission of someone that lives there)
I rent, and what I have in my home is none of my landlords business.
Unless specified in a renters agreement, much like pet policies when renting, I don't think the landlord can...
So I am house sitting someone else's home (in MD) while they are away in another State for a week.
Can I take my firearm for home/self defense?
The home is rented, but in the name of my girlfriend's father.
It is also my girlfriend's registered home address.
I'm basically staying with...
It was very good, the instructors were all very chill.
More events than you could fit in the schedule, I guess the thinking was that people wouldn't hit every class.
There was a 30 minute break between every class, and even before and after lunch, which basically worked out as a 2 hour...
Woman in a black (assault) car, attempted to ram the gates at the white house.
Cops chased her down, not sure if she fired any shots.
But I hear she dropped her coffee while looking for her lipstick as she drove away ;)
