Yes, will be the first time for VGCA at the Dale City site. Have been other shows there in the past and it's a little tight. When at the fairgrounds it was often two buildings but last year or so, down to 1. Like it because it's not all current production, some odd, older or vintage options...
Not sure where you'll be based in MD but NRA range off I-66 is a better choice. Was a Silver Eagle today (closer to the house than NRA) and big crowds, about 45 minute wait for a lane. Snow day fun
I'll make the ride up from VA if it's raining. Good to support the shows, even when they're just ok. My buying options are a little limited since I'm from across the river.
Have a .380 early model, bought by accident. Not nearly as nice as the OP, but has a three digit serial number so a 1919 model. One of those online auctions where I tossed in a low bid, expecting to get outbid and didn't. Came without the mag, originals are pricey, using a Triple K and no...
the the Quadrantid meteor shower is tonight, go out about 4am but gotta deal with the moonshine (not the WV kind). Look north for what you can see. I'm more a Perseid meteors kinda guy, it's in August and lots warmer at zero dark thirty. In NoVa it's head out to Sky Meadow, west of the swarms...
Not sure if you venture up 95 toward Del., but X-Ring and Miller's gun shops in Newark were good for reloading. Been 2-3 years since I hit the shops but were always stops when going to M&M for tournaments.
Worth the $8 in to get in, good selection of 'old school' S&Ws, rifles and shotguns. And all the usual stuff. Went looking reloading supplies and Remington Nylon .22s and no luck Sunday.
in reading the linked bill, it doesn't say how much the safe has to cost to qualify, if you get a bedside biometric safe for $300, it's pretty much free. And maybe keeps your 6-year-old from shooting the teacher. And if you think they don't know about your guns then you need a new tinfoil hat to...
Does the serial number start with an S or an N? It's the N-size frame 38 special, as opposed to the smaller K frame of the Model 10, 14, 15, etc. The N frame is used on the 27 and 28 .357, the .41 and .44 magnums. A beast but easy on the recoil and can do the job.
Called a friend who works at a LGS in Woodbridge and he says the FFL was pulled. Said his shop had a hard audit at the end of last year from ATF so the sloppy are getting slapped. No intel on C&R.
