      Youth Rifle

This is very dependent on what you want from this rifle. Is this an heirloom type piece? Is budget important? Is this something that the child will keep and use for the rest of their life? Is this the rifle that all future children of the family will learn to shoot with? I think the most...

3-9x scopes - is there a point anymore?

3-9x is surely dated and probably compared to modern scopes only useful for certain hunting applications. A big reason, in addition to weight and cost, is probably increased light transmission with the relatively large objective lens on 3-9x, usually 40mm+ compared to 24mm on most LPV.

      First Rimfire Suppressor

I am considering a Griffin Optimus Micro for my 2nd .22 can. It can be configured with several different mount options and can handle 22lr through 22-250 with some barrel length/mount restrictions. https://www.griffinarmament.com/optimus-micro-silencer-22lr-through-22-250/

      MOA help

NO... 1 MOA is 2 clicks for your scope. It doesn't matter what distance. If you mean 1 inch at 25 yard (4 MOA) then yes...8 clicks .

      The Official 1-4X Scope Thread

I'm not an expert this is just my general understanding but I don't think most newer scopes are like this. 4x, 6x and 8x erectors are much more common. so if you have a 2.5-10x that's a 4x 3-18x is a 6x 2-7x is a 3x but is really a 2.2-6.6x

      The Official 1-4X Scope Thread

Probably two reasons. They use a 3x erector so its 1.25-3.75x and they just round up to 4x on the high end. True 1x is much harder to do well than 1.25x

Need Advice... Is it my scope, the mounts or barrel?

Where was the point of impact at 100ydr before you turned the elevation all the way up? It should have been about 5 or 6" high depending. Assuming your scope mount is not loose I think you are dialing the wrong direction. Nikons says you have 60moa total adjustment. So 30" in either...
