WOW, that is crazy. 25 years ago at a show in Fredrick I bought an Enfield in the cosmoline and brown paper wrap. I still have it, I peeled back one corner of the paper and cos and the rifle has a brass buttplate and its all shiny and bright. I only paid 160.00 for the piece, wished I'd bought...
Some just don't like the truth. If you don't, do not ask me, I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings but I'm not going to tell you what YOU want to hear I always tell the truth.
Yep, .416 Barrett, Mr Barrett made the rifle just for the folks in Cali because they couldn't own the .50 BMG. They figured out later it shoots flatter and farther than a .50 BMG.
Usta be this way when I was a kid, crabs were soooo plentiful and large back then, look what has happened to the population now. I moved from the waterfront when the seaweed/underwater grass disappeared, wasn't any need for a pushnet anymore.
Nice piece. I have a 303 Brit .22 trainer, has all the correct markings, even the queens authorization stamp. It will print a pattern on paper very close to my tricked out Ruger race rifles and it is a pleasure to shoot.
Good not selling it, just telling it like it is. I can see by your post count you prolly have a whole lot of .50's laying around. Demo ranch what a joke film can be edited to be just like the "fake news" seeing is believing, the only way to go. I've seen so therefore I know.
Ya gotta stop watching the vids that show "experts" shooting things 50-100 feet away. The projectile has no time to stablize and any disturbance in the air around the bullet is not going to form right out of the muzzle. I by no means am an expert but I have owned a .50 since 1991 and have seen...
I don't believe that for a minute, I've shot my Barrett enough and at various objects to know even if it did go through the eye sockets there wouldn't be enough of the head left to identify where it entered or exited. Bought new in 1991, have ran thousands of rounds through it, 2 digit serial...
Check utube, there was a guy there trying to head shot a deer at 1000 yards, he was close, didn't hit the deer but the turbulence was such that he missed the head and the round passing the deer killed it but it sucked the eyes right out of her head.
