Glock Conversion
I use the Springco on a 10mm Witness. It definitely prevents the slide from battering the frame. No idea how well they work on a Glock. -

If you could only have one 5.56/.223 round, what would it be and why?
PPU 69gr Match performs really well and is affordable. M193 runs fine in my 1-7 carbines too, just have to be aware of the change in POI and the wind blows them around. I find LC M855 to be very inconsistent. I'll have to check out the Black Hills loads. -

Guns you regret
S&W 469, a complete piece of junk, as I learned most S&W automatics of that era (mid-late 80's) were. Traded it for an old Toyota P/U, definitely got the best end of the deal. On the other hand, the 6" S&W 586 I got back then is a thing of beauty. Don't really understand how the same company...- drkeg

On one of my uppers I had a problem where certain rounds (77gr GMM) wouldn't feed reliably. It turned out that the edges of the lugs in the barrel extension were so sharp that they would snag the round on the way in the chamber. Should I fix it, or live with it
I figured from the peening that your cylinder must be taking a beating too. I don't know about your specific model of revolver, but in my experience that meant something else was wrong. As Chad says, it's out of time and the hammer is dropping when the cylinder isn't locked up. Better have...- drkeg
