I am also looking for a place to go groundhog hunting as well, and wouldn't mind going with other people as well. I don't know of any places, but would be willing to make the drive on the weekends.
from what i've read about linear lock knives, i believe it is a linear lock. it can be opened with one hand and has that bar that locks it in place, but can still be folded back by pressing down the bar.

It's all about the neighbors and noise complaints, plus with a suppressor, you do not head to wear hearing protection on a suppressed .22, .45 is a different story however...
