Check for a Nazi firing proof under the HG on the barrel. I have one that is identical (it is not in as nice shape as yours) and it has the proof mark on the port side of the barrel, just in front of the receiver. The only other modification was the removal of the side swivel on the front...
Just thought I would share my experience, to give credit where credit was due. I ordered a "gunsmith special" type product, and due to an inventory snafu, the product was out of stock. Instead of telling me "tough luck," J&G substituted the non "gunsmith special" version of the product AT THE...
Looks like the one that went for more money had a re-stamped bolt. Also, I think the receiver is a re-stamped serial. There is a grind mark under the "221" I just bought one with a blank/(more likely) scrubbed receiver that is in significantly poorer condition. Mine and yours share the same...

MSP's current position seems to be that an HBAR can be sold over the counter, but a lower by itself requires a 77r. Makes no sense to me, but MSP seems pretty stuck on that point.
I am not a battered gun owner. I don't know what bill I purportedly think is coming, because SB 614 is bad enough. I also don't know what "two steps" you are referring to.
Read what Engage submitted to the MSP and what was subsequently filed in court. If SB 614 passes, I guarantee you the...
This is an attempt to legitimize the MSP's position that SBR's are rifles, and therefore are subject to regulation as copycat weapons. My guess is that either Frosh or the MSP asked her to introduce the bill. This is bad.
The internal parts necessary for the CETME's function are not completely interchangeable with any "banned" assault long gun. It is therefore not a copy of an assault long gun.
Not legal advice, just information.
Modifying the bolt alone will not make a Poly into a copy of an M1A. There are other parts that do not interchange - such as the gas plug. To be clear, a Polytech M14s with a modified GI bolt or modified to accept a GI bolt is NOT a copy of a banned rifle.
