They are just throwing things at a wall to see what sticks. That angle is such a reach, even for the gun control clowns. A trillion rounds were made in a factory and a few were used by criminals? Good grief.
I found an article claiming a viral social media post claiming 30% of the civilian...
Same ammo is now $609 before shipping and taxes. Glad I got it when I did. Would be over 70¢/rd now.
Not sure what's going on, heard rumors about closing lake city to civilian sales, but then heard that was false.
Not sure what caused 556 prices to basically double in a couple weeks. 9mm is...
Thanks for the heads up. That's cheaper than bulkammo where I've been ordering from, plus free shipping which usually costs like $25. I'll probably order a case when my rebate check comes in.
Hope you get it soon. I mailed mine a couple weeks ago, so will probably be getting my check around Christmas
Paid 46¢/round inc. tax and shipping for 556,
will be about 36/round once I cash the rebate check. Can't beat that for name brand factory 556 in 2023!
I noticed a slight increase in the cost of 9mm on bulkammo. 1k rounds from some manufacturers went from $250 to $265. Hopefully it's not a trend.
Got some cheap 556 last month, well it will be if I ever get my rebate from Winchester
That means over 5% of the over 21 population of Maryland has been approved for CCW. Awesome progress and good to see so many exercising their right.
Would love to see it get to 10% which would be around 370k. Doubt it will get that high though.
Wow! this is a couple blocks from where I live. I've been here 3 years and noticed a decline in the area in that short time. We regularly used to go to the Wawa a block over from the shooting, now we can't even get gas in the daytime without being accosted by homeless people. Last time I was...
Went up and got my PA non resident this week. I applied 11/2, was approved 11/4. Scheduled the pickup for 11/9 at the courthouse. Parking is a PITA in that area, so allow for extra time and bring some quarters for the meters. Once inside, it was very quick and easy- probably 10 minutes total...
Did some quick math
For simplicity sake, I assume ~100k permits in the pipeline * $300/class is $30,000,000. Not bad for a couple months of work.
Fingerprint guys made a cool $5 mil. if $50 a pop for their services.
Application fees generated $7.5M
I've noticed a few more firearms training companies popping up in my area and advertising on the radio, etc. Hoping the competition will drive down prices for the ccw class. I paid almost $500 in total for the class, fingerprints and application, that could be a barrier of entry for many would...

Finally done! Plus my order from bulkammo just shipped and will be here Wednesday!
Happy Halloween everyone!
Hang in there friend, in 2 weeks and you should have it in hand. The suspense is brutal for me too, I just keep reminding myself that at least now it's legally possible in the great government loving, nanny state of Maryland.
I was approved Wednesday also. Hopefully they come on Monday.
I saw another Wednesday approval received theirs today so it seems MSP printed and mailed them pretty quickly for our batch.
I have no personal experience or knowledge
That said, it's an American made MP5 clone, looks awesome/totally cool, so you should definitely get it!:party29:
Thanks neighbor! I'll definitely spend some time on glocktalk. I don't know how I didn't come across that forum yet, so thanks for the link!
And I'm sure I'll find my way to a GSSF match once I get bored of hitting bull's-eyes by myself :)
Watching the state "not disapprove" one by one of citizens exercising their God given inalienable right to defend their life has become a surprisingly enjoyable part of my day as well. It simultaneously feels good and sad/frustrating.
Thanks for reading! I don't have much of a filter but at least I can be entertaining, for better or worse.
Thank you! It's a great resource!
Thank you!
Yes he is! I could listen to him talk about American history all day. If we had a few guys like him teaching US history in the school system...
