      On own property I carry. Have seen bears + coyotes on camera enough to know there is a non zero chance of an encounter. Could I defend myself with the Mathews? Probably.       Got busted by some spikes on the way in for a brief sit in the sauna yesterday. I'm low on venison and taxidermy is expensive. If it doesn't have spots it is getting a spot in my freezer.

      28 yards down range directly under a large cluster of oaks. I have been known on occasion to phone it in and put a camo netting on the deck above. Sometimes you don’t feel like climbing a tree.
