      Sporting clays setup

      The shoot was Saturday at Hummelstown field and stream, and it was for Pennstate Hershy medical center. I ended up just using mod with 7.5. I shot just ok but had fun doing it.

      I already have a pouch from trap shooting. I forgot I also have in my pile of barrels an old polychoke in case it would be better to change settings between stations. That barrel seems to balance and swing nicely with the extra forward weight.

      Near the house we will have raised beds with a couple kinds of lettuce. 3-4 kinds of tomatoes with 3-4 plants each. Carrots, peas, zucchini, and jalapenos. Our soil is heavy clay.       Marlin model 20 22LR pump

      I need to get my old marlin pump out and get pictures of the internals. After fixing the firing pin I can shoot a single shot but the action locks up when cycling.

      What gun projects did you abandon or will never finish?

      Mine is a Marlin 25s I wanted to bring back to shooting condition. It's a pump action gallery gun only produced in 1909/10. I worked on it enough to get it firing a single shot at a time but have an issue with feeding from the mag tube. One of these days I'll get back to it.
