Read in Cecil Whig the Sheriffs department is having a range built to train officers. At the end it said it would create revenue. Has anybody heard if it would be open to public at a fee? Would be nice to get another range.
After watching video. My spring would not pass the Nickel test. I ran 12 rounds through after buffer change and good cleaning with no issues. Will see next time out with it.
Thanks. I did a little searching for reviews. Like getting them from those who don't have any skin in the game. Looks like air is cleared with input here. Buckmark it will be.
Looking at Browning buckmark .22 as next hand gun purchase. Looking for input from owners of this gun. Good, bad and the ugly. Originally Looking at Ruger mark iv. But still up in the air.
Over the last 2 weeks I loaded 120 rounds of .44 mag. 75 rounds of . 44 specials. Prepped 200 rounds of 30-30 winchesters. Will complete 30-30 by Wednesday next week. This was from old supplies from 15 to 20 years ago. New prices are crazy.
Found these on a search. I did another search for reviews. On some older searched it was mentioned in several about being hard to seat. Many others with no mention of hard seating. Everything else positive. So anybody have any recent experience with these. Specifically large rifle primers?
Thanks again. The last 2 poster. I currently have once shot factory brass about 100 to 150 rounds. Will load that first. Then move to suggested brass in future. Hunting shots will be close woods shots under 100 yds. Field shots could stretch to 300 yds. But most likely 200 or less. Primer...
Blood was bright what I found. Just splatters at point of impact. Few drops for about 30 yds. Then nothing. Did grid search for next 150 yds. Still nothing. If bullet expanded proper I expected her to be down with reaction and blood color. I contributed to marginal shot till I spoke with someone...
Up to this point I have used T/C mag express sabot with similar results. Getting pass through with muzzle loader isn't always the case. But when bullets expand correctly they usually aren't far. Not in this case.
I would like to add that Leopold customer service is great. Was having issue with scope on muzzleloader several years ago. Point of aim was moving during repeated shots sometimes. Thought it was scope. Talking with service tech while going over gun. Came up with 2 possible issues. Scope going...
Looking for info/ opinions. Unable to retrieve first deer this past season in many years. 100 yd shot. 100grs triple 7. Hit looked good. Very little blood which disappeared quickly. Went back next do to look again. Question now. Has anybody had issue with expansion with this sabot? I was...
Not sure if info is helpful. I get constant updates. I'll post as they come.

Looking for good starting point for reloading. Been years since of performed any reloading. Back then it was 30 30 and 44 mag. I have a Lee single stage reloaded and a set of dies and plenty of single fired brass for the .270 wsm. Would like to get started reloading. Couple of questions. Is...
Again thank for all of the replies. I went to the show in Harrisburg over the weekend. I was able to put my hands on many semi auto hand guns. As many stated, up range of purchase price limit. Looks like I'm looking at a colt 1911. Have a couple of models in mind.
