Now that it appears that Pioneer Arms has gone out of business, I finally pushed myself into ordering one of these from Classic Firearms yesterday. It should be here in a couple of days.

Yes, that is correct. Rather than Surefire type that funnel into a standard magazine well, these are larger all the way to the top. The magazines will only fit in the Desert Tech lower. Regular magazines will fit in the Desert Tech lower, but only with an adaptor that is sold separately.
