Yes, I get that. This whole conversation started with someone saying that the zip code serial engraving method is not valid...

Read what you just posted, specifically section (ii). Then try to tell me again how I am wrong and how MSI and other lawyers are also disagreeing with your reading skills.
No, it doesn't... reading comprehension owns you. MD law requires you to follow federal law. Federal law doesn't require ATF markings on home made guns that are never sold or taken to a FFL.
No, it doesn't. Federal law doesn't require personally made firearms to be marked unless you are selling them. That is they key thing you are missing. My PMFs are not and will not be engraved to ATF standards and there is nothing illegal about that unless I sell them without getting them marked.
Duffys is doing it per MD law. It isn't right or wrong. They just refuse to comply with the new Federal rule that goes into effect next month. It doesn't affect you at all unless you are planning to sell your homemade firearms.
Time of flight was about 3 seconds to some of the targets. With basic earpro and other people shooting it was tough to hear impacts past 400-500 yards.
I had never shot past 200y until today when my coworker invited me to shoot at Peacemaker. After a few shots at 450y, I skipped straight to 940y and immedialy started ringing steel. After about 20 minutes of that my coworker and I both moved on to the 1025y target (full size IDPA silhouette) and...
My employer won't care, but I am thinking about applying without listing any references whatsoever. I can bankroll a lawsuit at the lower court level. What's the typical payout for infringing on constiutional rights? Might be a good money making opportunity. I don't "need" a CCW permit urgently.
Seems like an easy lawsuit to win. What other constitutional rights require references? Seems like it isn't a right if you can be denied for not voluntarily giving out private information.
Maybe. Depends on activist judges and how long it takes the case to make the way through the legal system. We are already going on 10 years since the law was passed.

They are also stating that California and NJ mag bans need to be reheard.
My wallet won't survive the aftermath!
Sorry if you can't understand the ruling. They used the 14th ammendment (equal protection clause) to say that NY was treating some gun owners different than others by requiring a special reasoning and therefore creating two classes of people, those with some arbitrary reason and those without...
I already covered this in the other thread. When you register the guns with the MD State Police there is a check box for whether they were pre-ban or post-ban in Maryland.
Lawyers here are saying no. Many FFLs won't want the liability of their number on someone's random home built gun for liability reasons. MD law and ATF laws can create a conflict starting on 8/24.
