No. Last month, I didn't draw and fire a single round at all since I didn't go to any matches or even get the range. But I drew from my holster as much as I could, and dry fired as much as I could....

I would I say in general, I dry fire 200 times for every 1 real shot. I also practice reloads without live rounds. When actually shooting, the NRA range in Fairfax is where I go.

I have both the 17 and the 34 in Gen 4. The 34 is my competition gun, and my 17 wears a Surefire light and sits on my nightstand.

Out of the box, they are very similar...
