If it weren't such a hassle, I'd do that  I found the case gauge, so it's all good. 9mm is one pistol caliber I don't have a revolver for. Also, I knocked out another 300 rounds today.

73 action can't handle 44 Mag.

As for the OP, if he wants to get into SASS, 73 is the way to go. If he reloads and wants to shoot BP rounds, 44-40 is the way to go. Otherwise, get the 357.

You can add a stock and use the rifle upper. Switch it back when you're done. Can't do the opposite if it started as a rifle.

I have a DW Silverback. It is the third most expensive 1911 behind my STI DVC and my SVI-STI custom. I would not trust my life to a competition pistol. I would trust it to the DW or the SA.

Question Need a better belt

My MidwayUSA two belt system sags under the weights of my Shadow 2 and STI DVC 3-gun. It was fine with my P16-40 and RIA double stack 1911, but it sags with the bigger, heavier guns. Any...

My newer 3-gun rifle, with scope, weighs less than my carry handle M4gery. With that said, something like an Aimpoint H series would work.

Which 20 gauge semiauto?

Looking at 20 gauge semiautos. I found an unused "used" Remington 1100 G3 for $950. Really nice, tag is still on it. Or I could spend $450 less for a Stoeger 3020, or $200 more for a Benelli M2. ...
