I had a cheap Simmons and it was OK for archery as its real range is not more than 50 yards. So I replaced it with Leupold RX-650 which is good up to 500 yards. Very happy with this one!...

Got lucky tonight, was able to harverst large doe. Near G'burg, on friend's private property. With this heat it was tolerable on the treestand but dragging it was exhausting.

My impression that you need to have ML and Gun stamp purchased in order to hunt during ML and Gun seasons with bow. If you go to places where others can hunt with ML or Gun you must wear the orange....

Nope, Striders Archery Range is long closed. There is an Archery Range in Germantown Soccerplex. It is located in south west corner. I saw people there shooting crossbows.
