If I was going to pocket carry, I'd try the S&W 442/642. If even that was too bulky, I'd resolve to carry IWB before downsizing the gun any further.

Red wasn't my first choice, but the only manual available that I could get to at the end of the 2015 model year. It's grown on me though.

Yeah, we'll have to wait and see on street prices. The MSRP on the new GP100 is the same as the 357 versions, so in the shops it should end up closer to $600 (hopefully).

I say good price, and prices on those K-frame magnums are only going up. You can get a new model 66 for that price, but it will have MIM internals, lower build quality, and the internal lock.
