For what it’s worth I picked up 1lb of Goex FFF at Brownstone Trading Co. not too long ago. He may still have some as he does a lot with muzzleloaders.

I had a Conestoga metal building put up 15 years...

I had a Conestoga metal building put up 15 years ago. Never regretted it. It’s now insulated and electrified. Only regret is I should have put in taller doors. It has 10’ ceilings. 3 /12 car.

Acetone will do it but will also start to remove any finish. A light application might get the gunk off. Just don’t get aggressive with it.

Acraglas comes with dies that you mix in to get the color you want. No to sanding! Strip of the old finish with a solvent, tung oil finish. I did my Ishapor that way turned out great.

I have both smooth bore and rifled but with iron sights. Both are accurate out to 75 yards with varying ammo. Sounds like the scope has issues.
