Bear in mind that their powder drops may be slightly different that the lots you used...

If you are looking for that sub-MOA accuracy, you may want to consider a barrel with a matched and headspaced bolt, or doing the reloading thing and finding the load that your barrel really likes.

It is a ok rifle, if you aren't concerned with sub-MOA without always using match ammo. It'll be a rifle you can use as a truck gun. You want accurate as hell, build it with a high quality barrel...

The actual rifle is a license sold to RRA from Bushmaster. The LAR-8 is actually a Bushmaster 308. Bushmaster couldn't resolve the inch and metric mag issue, so they sold it to RRA.

I have a 1:7 with an AAC barrel, but 1:8 will work too.

I've had good luck with this company and their Value-Line series of barrels. Used numerous 556 barrels in 16" and a single 12.5" from them....

I thought so too. I remember the LAR-8 accepting the inch and metric mags. I wouldn't think RRA would change that.

The M1A is banned by name in 308. It is not banned by name for 6.5 Creedmoor.
