What if there are extraction issues? Feeding issues? You do you, but there is no way I'd take a gun out of the box, load it up, and call it good to go for home defense regardless of the manufacturer.

It is factory bobbed and DAO, but no NY-1 stamp. These most likely came from an armored car or security service. I don't know enough to say whether these were made to the NY spec and left unstamped...

I really enjoy shooting my SP101 at the range with both .38 and .357. Mine is the DAO 2.25" bbl version. You should be able to find these at the $500 price point pretty easily.
