The majority of CO2 guns are "over sprung" from the factory. If you have access to the hammer spring, and also a chrony you can sometimes double your shot count.

It's 30" OAL. With the .30cal barrel it will shoot 80FPE. I've got it tuned to 31fpe in .22 right now.

What's the CBI? If it came out the barrel my guess would be the poppet gave out. They are made of delrin I believe. Simple to replace. It also could have been that he shot the pressure down too low...
